Flora Women's Mini Marathon - Update
57 women from Donegal Centre for Independent Living are training hard to complete “Flora Women's Mini Marathon”.
This event is the biggest all women's event of its kind in the world, women of all ages representing every county and every walk of life take part in this great Festival of Women.
No pressure is put on these finely tuned athletes
The marathon can be walked, jogged or ran to complete the 10k course. Every finisher is a winner - and receives a commemorative medal and ribbon to mark the achievement.
Donegal Centre for Independent Living is delighted to have this substantial amount of women representing DCIL. This is a great opportunity to raise the profile of our organisation throughout Ireland and help raise vital funds for DCIL.
